- Commodity name: Dual-position Glove Box
The HMM-ST2 Vacuum Glove Box is a dual-chamber stainless steel glove box designed for experimental exploration in fields such as materials science, chemistry, and semiconductors. The purification system within the instrument is crafted from anti-oxidation materials and incorporates high-quality dehydrating agents, ensuring that the water and oxygen levels inside the glove box remain below 1 ppm. This creates an ultra-clean, anhydrous, and anaerobic environment ideal for a wide range of experiments. Additionally, the instrument features built-in functions such as pressure control, purity monitoring, automated gas circulation and regeneration, as well as data-reading capabilities.
I. Equipment Overview
The HMM-ST2 Vacuum Glove Box is a dual-chamber stainless steel glove box designed for experimental exploration in fields such as materials science, chemistry, and semiconductors. The purification system within the instrument is crafted from antioxidant materials and incorporates high-quality dehydrating agents, ensuring that the water and oxygen levels inside the glove box remain below 1 ppm. This creates a pristine, anhydrous, and anaerobic environment ideal for a wide range of experiments. Additionally, the instrument features built-in functionalities such as pressure control, purity monitoring, automated gas circulation and regeneration, as well as data-reading capabilities.

Housing material: 304 stainless steel
Dimensions: 2400mm (L) x 800mm (W) x 930mm (H)
The glove box's front window glass is made of 12mm-thick double-layered glass, and the glass surface features an anti-corrosion film.
Cavity environment
Water content: <1 ppm (20°C, 1 atm) Oxygen content: <1 ppm (20°C, 1 atm)
Leakage rate
<0.05 Vol%/hr (determined based on the oxygen content within the glove box)
Pre-stage room
Main preamp room dimensions: 385mm (Diameter) x 588mm (Length)
Negative pre-stage chamber dimensions: 150 mm (Dia.) x 300 mm (L)
Maximum vacuum: 100 Pa
Using gas
Working gases: N2, Ar, He, and other inert gases
Controlled gas: compressed air or inert gas
Reducing gas: A mixture of process gas and hydrogen (H2).
If the purification system only has a water-removal function, the reducing gas is identical to the working gas.
Gas purification system
Germany's BASF oxygen-scavenging materials, the U.S.'s UOP high-efficiency water-absorbing materials, and automatic control of the purification system's regeneration process—
Automatic water and oxygen removal function; capable of maintaining gas purity—water <1 ppm, oxygen <1 ppm—over the long term and continuously.
Filtering System
Organic solvent filtration system: Equipped with a high-quality, replaceable, and highly efficient activated carbon element—combined seamlessly with a HEPA filter.
HEPA Filter: Meets HEPA standards, installed inside the housing, with a filtration accuracy of 0.3μm.
Control System
Water probe: Equipped with the American GE brand, featuring a 0–1000 ppm touchscreen display with an accuracy of 0.1 ppm.
Oxygen Transmitter: Equipped with the American brand AII, featuring a 0–1000 ppm touchscreen display with an accuracy of 0.1 ppm.
Pressure sensor: Featuring the American brand Setra, with a touchscreen display ranging from -2500 to 2500 Pa and an accuracy of ±1 Pa.
Control System: SIEMENS color touch screen (6-inch), PLC control system.
Vacuum pump
Adopting the British EDWARDS brand, with a pumping speed of 8.4–12 m³/h.
Backup interface
Adopting the standard KF40 interface
Gloves
U.S.-made NORTH brand butyl synthetic rubber
Lighting System
A Philips-brand fluorescent lamp is installed inside the glove box.
Shelf
Ceiling-mounted, positioned relatively toward the rear backboard and adjustable left to right;
Dimensions: 300 x 250 mm; the shelf tray is positioned approximately 300 mm from the top.
Product Dimensions
3115mm (L) x 830mm (W) x 1830mm (H) (123" x 33" x 72")
Precautions for Use
During the gas purification process, it is essential to ensure that the connecting pipes between the glove box and the purification system remain unobstructed.
Before and during operation, frequently check the airtightness of all joints, gloves, sealing elements, and connecting pipes.
Sex. Corrosive gases must not pass through water and oxygen adsorbents. To prevent contamination from external gases, the inlet of the pre-stage chamber is…
The air inlet and exhaust port cannot be opened simultaneously.
