The HMM-GCJ-18/21 cylindrical battery grooving machine is a device designed for the grooving process of cylindrical batteries. The equipment comes standard with one set of grooving dies (custom dimensions available), and by simply replacing the dies, it can perform grooving operations on cylindrical batteries with outer diameters ranging from φ35mm to φ50mm.
➤ Functional Features1. Function: Used for automatic steel-shell grooving of 18650/21700 cylindrical batteries.
2. Basic Principle: The upper and lower mandrels concentrically position the battery, which is then driven by a high-speed motor to rotate vertically. A cam mechanism controls the feed of the hob for cutting the grooves.
3. Equipment Operation Procedure:
Manually place the battery onto the feeding belt → a cylinder pushes the battery into the grooving station → the core shaft descends to groove the battery, while the grooving cutter advances → the cylinder removes the grooved battery → a material-pushing cylinder then pushes the battery into the discharge chute → finally, an operator manually takes the battery away.
4. Technical Features:
* The artificial magnetic strip holder attaches batteries to the feeding conveyor belt, enabling the simultaneous loading of multiple batteries at once;
* Automatically feed the batteries sequentially into the grooving station, then automatically perform the grooving process;
* The upper mandrel features an elastic pressing mechanism for the insulating sheet, ensuring that the insulating sheet remains precisely positioned beneath the groove during grooving.
* Automatically remove the groove-rolled OK cells and push them sequentially into the discharge channel;
* The cell rotation uses a high-speed motor to ensure uniform and aesthetically pleasing grooving.
